Guest Mike
I've been searching for ignition systems recently and am interested in the Accel 500+ due to features and price. It seems to have evrything I want all in one package and the remote programmer is included. Is this a reliable unit for a daily driver? Is the remote programmer fairly easy to use... or a cumbersome clunker? I want reasonable performance for street/strip to at least 6K RPM. The ignition components will be mounted in the passenger compartment. Mid-sixties Gen1 SBC 350 (approx. 350/350 plus 100 NOS) Edel. Perf. RPM Heads Solid Roller Cam (moderate) 10.5 CR (approx.) Triple Deuces (3x Holley 250 CFM) 100 Shot NOS (progress into 3rd/4th gear only) 200-4R Trans. 200R VLSD Diff. 3.9:
