Canadianz Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 The diff in my 71 z likes to make noise around 50 mph.. only when cruising, but at 55 or 45 its pretty quiet, and it doesnt make noise at any other time it seems, but since the z has had some more miles put on it recently, it seems to have settled down and isnt so bad on the ears. (when I first bought it it had quite a howl) also replacing the old bushings with new rubber bushings helped quiet it a bit, the rubber on the old ones had rotted right off and was definitely not helping the problem I imagine the problem wont fix itself but due to the fact I just bought the car I really dont mind its quirks.. at the moment Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
