JSM
I did search: R200 Id, Differential Id, Rear end ID w/ no luck. Where are the numbers that tell you if it is a R200 located on the Rear end? Does it say R200 or imbedded in a number?
skipzoomie
No numbers. R200 has axle flanges that slip into the sides of the diff. with no bolt on seal retainers. The R180 has a 5 bolt seal retainer on the sides of the diff.
JSM
Made from 77-83 in no LSD config? So would most NA 280zx have a R200? If not what other variation came in the 280zx and earlier 300zx?
COZY Z COLE
Go to the drivetrain forum... Click on search this forum, type in R-200, ENJOY..... LARRY
skipzoomie
Most standard transmission cars have the R200. Most automatic transmission cars have the R180. Now having said that, these cars are 30 years old and anything can be and has been changed.
