Guest Anonymous
What kind of chassy work needs to be done to my 1977 280Z 2+2 for a V-8 (350) conversion? What kind of drive shaft work? Also, I've read about people putting 4-pt. cages in their Z's -- why would I need to do this? Thanx
Guest Jeff Rimmer
Sub-frame connectors would be great to help, along witha cage would make your Z good and stiff. That is what I am doing with my 77 280 Z 2+2. First I must replace the rusting floor pans and frame rails. Good luck! JR
DavyZ
Everything Jeff said is correct. As far as the drive shaft, it will need to get modified by a shop (if you do JTR, there is an adapter that gets installed, I believe) regardless. This is generally inexpensive and is one of the more minor items in terms of modification. Davy
