280tyler Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 I have a 77 280z and i was thinking about putting a zx turbo motor in it. but then i also realized that i need to renew tags soon. will the l28et pass the test in a 77? i live in Portland OR so there is no visual just a sniffer. also if i get a P.O. box somewhere where you don't have to pass emissions can i get around it like that or do i need an address to register it to? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
randy 77zt Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 if it is running correctly no problem.the problem is doing that with combination of old datsun parts.if they are not picky about WHAT is on the car it would be easier with a well tuned aftermarkit efi running closed loop wide band o2 and a cat convertor.my megasquirt is running closed loop with innovate motorsports wide band and it does exactly what i tell it to do.
