george.bryant Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 I've found during driving my skyline that during gearchanges, sometimes the revs often stay up for longer than they feel like they should and take too long to go down. Make sure the pedal is not sticking on any carpet, and that the linkage isn't snagging on any part of the intake manifold (assuming you have the rod type linkage). Challenger Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 Has it always done that cause when I drive my dads 4 cyl Saturn Vue the compressions low enough and the flywheel heavy enough to keep it revving for awhile. Mario I don't mean to sound dumb, but what is BCDD? I remember reading about it in the Skyline Manual, but that was for the L24e (Australian Models). So I never paid much attention to it. When I got the car it had a broken manifold stud so all I could hear was ticking and the rves not coming down wasnt noticable. I noticed today its more so only during 2nd-3rd gear change. And yes, its a REALLY fun car. Bloody quick. I can only imagine how quick a L28et is!
