John Greenslade
I pulled the differential and rear struts today and will start rebuilding next week. However, as I removed the rear assembly I realized I hadn't completely disassembled the emergency brake. Is there an easy way to remove the clips that hold the rear emergency brake line at the back of the transmission tunnel. I can't get the clips to budge. jeromio
I couldn't get mine to move either. Are you gonna try and do anything to the cable - clean it up or something? If not, I'd just disconnect the cables at the brakes. Much easier (pair of pliers, grip the lip of the clip and pry against the ebrake cable shank, then with drum removed, slide the cable out of the shoe arm).
