Guest zthang43
I have a puller tool I am selling which pulls the strut pin (or spindle pin) out rather than beating it out with a hammer and smashing the threads or pressing it out and possibly bending the control arm. This tool works with the control arm on the car or off, and can be used with an impact gun. Removal should take about 20-30 minutes, and the strut pins are not damaged so they don't need to be replaced. I have sold the first set of tools I made, and now have another batch of them ready to be shipped out. They are $30 plus shipping. Email me for details. Guest zthang43
Ok, a bunch of people emailed and asked for pictures. I sent them out, but then I found out just recently that my computer messes up the date on my emails, so sometimes they don't show up at the top of the list of messages in the inbox. Sorry about that. Anybody still interested, let me know; I can send pictures and instructions with diagrams that show pretty well how this tool works. DavyZ
I bought the tool because I thought it would be a really good idea to have one handy. I have not had then chance to use it, but it looks like it will work just fine, has the instructions with the tool, and was worth the money. After reading the horror stories about the time wasted just getting one pin out, let alone two, the $36 (includes shipping) seemed to be a fair value. Just my $.02.
