Guest Anonymous
I have a question about a T-56 transmission. Can I use the stock flywheel and pressure plate on any one peice rear main block ? I know centerforce makes a flywheel for both just wondering why the stock peice can't be used or can it ? Thanks for any insite you can bring to this. Guest Locutus
The only real reason many people don't use the stock flywheel is its not SFI rated, and they don't make blow proof bellhousings for these things, and its only rumored they make a trans blanket. I am using a SFI rated flywheel cause I want to keep my legs.
BLKMGK
One other caveat - if you use a stroker crank you may be shocked to find that it uses the "old style" flywheel mount and you'll be forced to grab a CenterForce flywheel like I was. Grr! Anyone need an LT1 flywheel?
