Trevor
Anyone else like OLD Jags? I must be getting ignorant and tunnel vision 'cause this one bugs me: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/One-of-a-Kind-1972-Jaguar-Cobra-Teaser-Movie-Car_W0QQitemZ220070466488QQihZ012QQcategoryZ7251QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Not so much the design and build, but the way the seller wrote up the advertising: Sure, its a "movie prop", and it offers the "Look" of an XJE. First of all the model....What is an XJE? I know of the '62-'73 XKE, often called the E-type. I know it's not supposed to be a true replica I just think if you were deviating from the orginal car, at least make it better. Construction critique follows: I do give the BUILDER props for creativity with the exhaust manifolds. I see 2 radiator caps, understandable, but both at the same water level? Radiator might be from a Mazda donor. Then there is that widscreen rake is that '55 Chevy glass? Indianapolis racing chassis aren't box tube steel, don't have Pinto front suspensions, and the engines aren't in the front....(sigh, whine, grumble)
