This would be my first post on your forum. I hail from 300zxclub.com where I've been a terror on that site since 2003, making my way up to supermod status. I've been growing a bit tired of my 300zx, but I dont think I'll ever get rid of it.

What I've always wanted to do, as have most of you, is get my hands on a nice 240Z project.

I wont be able to start my project for maybe another 5 years, when I have my own house with 2 car garage so I can do this right.

My plan thus far:

1973 240Z, in almost any condition. I'm going to strip the car down to it's frame and start building it again. By the time I'm ready I'm sure the newer Z06 drivetrains will fall in price somewhat...:-D Full on restoration of all damage, rust, dings and dents. Fully built suspension and breaking system. Wide body rear end, bit fat tires with a nice set of deep dish wheels. Deep black paint, black leather interior...all new. New everything. New glass, new panels, new guages, new wires everywhere. Theres so much to do, and I will have PLENTY of time to do it...Even after I get started, it wont be a weekend job. I will take my time, do my research, and do this right.

I'll have some upcoming direction from Desert Dog, he's around here somewhere...I'm hoping he wont mind making a few matching sets of custom parts on his lathe :P

I saw this one on ebay...It seems to be in great shape. I wish I found something like this in about 5 years though. As I do not have a place to store a car for 5 years.

I've wasted enough of your time for now. I hope to get to know a lot of you as I browse around and start my learning. And if any of you are from 300zxclub and you need someone banned...let me know, I'll fry them for yah!
