jonus079 Posted March 5, 2007 Share Posted March 5, 2007 how did the intake fit? most people say it wont fit but some people say you can just bearly get it in. id love to see some pictures of the engine in the car. i plan on test fitting my engine late this week or this weekend (spring break starts thursday!). i will post some pictures as soon as i do. jonus079 Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 its an ls style block the intake will fit, you could take the intake from a 4.8l truck and put it on a camaro and it will still fit and i will post pics later do you mean fit the engine or fit under the hood. i know you can swap ls intakes, ive seen it in person. i talking about physically fitting it (truck intake) under the hood. just want to make sure were on the same page. im gunna try and keep the truck intake (keyword try) because iv heard the longer runners gives you more torque. plus why not use what you have. if i have to though, i dont mind dishing out $100 or so for an ls1 plenum.
