Any help is good. I was thinking of making a bulkhead with a vertical window in it for many reasons. Mostly, fuel cell, and battery, but a flat deck hatch too. If I made a bulkhead that mouted my window too I could make the hatch zues or pinned on for easy removal(inpsection at track). Good seal to rest of my passenger compartment. Much lighter cause of no full size hatch glass and steel hatch. I am going with a straight rear and tubs so it would be nice to hide the work. any ideas? I thought about measuring a MR2 and fiero to maybe cut part and use deck.

that sounds like a pretty cool idea. I had though about this long ago but discarded the idea cause when I went looking...everyone gave the stink eye and thought I was crazy. Nobody beleived me that some had the roll down back window. I am not crazy about extra weight and wiring but the novelty of it may be worth it. Besides. I would likely be the only person at the MSA show with a power rear window. Air flow sucks in my opinion in a Z so a sun roof was the first idea. Sunroofs suck and I don't want something on my car that sucks. icon_smile.gif Del Sol idea may be the ticket. That would also solve the question about how I mount/seal the window. Cut it out of the Del Sol and weld it into a firewall on my car.
