Hi all,

I have a set of front hub & rotor from an 87zxt that I would like to install on to a 82zxt.

My question is, can I use the original 82zxt caliper, or do I need calipers from 87zxt donor and would this require any spacers to work?

On the rear, after drilling stub axels to accept 5 lug, can I use the vented rotors from 87zxt along with caliper to complete swap? Is a spacer required? Thank you gentlemen in advance any imput would be greatly appreciated.

5 lug fronts. what i call stage #3 .

you would need to source your own front hubs from a 84-6 300zx, i can make brackets to use the 87 5 lug stuff up front (i think) but this will NOT be a bolt on and it will require welding.

rears.: cheap! :D

i have 2 new rotors sitting here that will slide on a 82-3 car and you use your calipers. all you need to do is drill the pattern, if you have a 79-81 car you will need to update the calipers to the later style.

$100 for the rotors or $150 with 10 studs and a self centering punch to mark for drilling

Renn, my front setup with 13" Brembo rotors bolts on using those 5lug hubs you have, just an option (once your hubs are setup with larger OD ARP's for strength). A pic or two on my web below. Out back it can be as simple as redrilling your current 4lug rotors to 5lug once your stub axles are done as I did and end effect leaving rear brakes intact, or you can buy new 5 lug rotors and swap calipers as Mike mentions.
