Guest yragat
I have a 26T with a Datsun L20B engine when I bought the car it had 2 sidedraft carbs, which I was having problems with so I switched over to an offenhauser 4 barrel manifold with a 390 cfm holley. Now to my question. The sidedraft setup had no provision for a pvc valve, but I have a place in the intake and also in the base of the carb now. There is no polution controls on the car at all---there is a breather pipe (abouy 1" in dia ) coming from the crankcase out into the open air (fumes) there is a hose from the valve cover that goes down and exits into the air below the oil pan. What I want to know is if I take a hose from the crankcase pipe with a pcv valve in it and take it to the intake manifold and then put an open breather on the valve cover(for incoming air) would this be the proper way to plumb it? any advice will be appreciated Gary
