igerstein
Hi! I've been searching the forums and internet for information on this for the past twenty minutes and I cant find anything particularly helpful, so please dont flame me! I was just wonderning what you can and can't do to a stock z32 NA engine. Someone told me recently that new cars have so much computer stuff involved that you cant really change much, but I suspect he was wrong. Anyone know if there are defined things that you can and cannot do without screwing up your car somehow? Thanks...
Guest TeamNissan
Intake, exhaust and cams are prob the cheapest things you can do within a moderate budget. I know the cams on the vg are such a pain because of that plenum but it will give you the biggest gains out of the 3. After that you really need to start pouring money into the block, p+p the heads, bore the block etc. Depending on your goals it will prob be cheaper to just convert to TT. If you want just a few more ponies 1,2,3 will be just fine for say a grand. If you want more then that I would look into swapping a dif motor. Either turbo or v8. 1FASTKINGCAB
I agree, If you just want to pep it up do Exhaust, Intake, cams and then a chip. Most stock block N/A owners a very happy with 190-200WHP if you want more HP than that you will need some serious money into the block or to the TT swap. I think for about $8,500.00 Z1 in Georgia will do the whole swap into your car. the TT is 300HP stock but 400WHP is easily doable on the stock setup with the right bolt ons.
