I am building my 2.8l right now and here is what I have done and where I am stuck at.. it is a F54 block stock bore, new rings, bearings, balanced ,ect on the bottom end. I have already installed my 4.11 from a 83 200 sx and am running my stock 81 trans, 5 speed. non turbo. I have a arizona intake manifold for a holly 390 cfm. didnt like my su's but I am having thoughts about weither or not to use a N47 or MN47 head. the cam I am going to use is a isky stage 3 the MN47 head will give me a comp of 11:3:1 right? and the N47 about 10:1 this is going to be a weekend car. what would the pros and cons be between these to heads. am thinking with the N47, it would be a little more forgiving all around due to the lower compression ratio. Ie heat, Pinging ,Frying rings? also if I use the Mn47 head with this combo, will I have the dead below 3k sendrome? thanks Jeremy 7/80 280zx non turbo 5speed t top.
