24ounce
well i searched and didnt find anything - this is my first engine build and its a 3.1 with l24rods with floating pins on standered ka24 pistons i know the pin in the piston is offset to stop thea slap garbage and the rod has to be a certian way for the oiler so now if im looking at the front of the block which way should the oiler be facing right or left? and should the short side of the piston be on the left or right? also according stonehinge i need to use a sealers on the rear main cap - what should this be just any regular permatex or dose it need to be somethign special?? also should i be using any certian kind or assembly lube or will anythign i pick up at a parts store be just fine? bubbleguinea
rear main cap use permatex ultra grey...do it where the haynes manual shows....make sure to get the correct rubber side seals from the dealer! any assembly lube will be fine...just crank it over with no ign to get oil pressure after its put togehter!
