DeusEx
So i recently discovered that i have a different suspension setup front and back Front are King Springs and Koni Gas shocks, rear are...well im not sure tbh. Now and then the car displays weird handling characteristics, the front is stiff, while the back has alittle bit of roll in it that sets to offset the balance alittle. My question is...i have found a rear strut brace for around 150(AU) and while its ALOT cheaper than getting my suspension replaced/rebuilt will it mask the problem slightly? Also are there any cons to having suspension rebuilt?
DavyZ
I hope I'm understanding your problem correctly. One of the keys here is to find out what the spring rate is in the front. Some aftermarket springs have a metal tag with a rate stamped on them. You can buy rear springs that are slightly stiffer (higher rate) to help things along. Another option would be to add a rear anti-roll bar if your car does not have one already. Just some ideas. Davy
SHADY280
the strut bar wont help with this particular problem, it only helps the towers stop moving. like davyz said. you need to get the springs figured out.
zedevan
i've got some used koni (classic?) rear inserts i was going to put into my car, but then came across a pair that had just been rebuilt so used them instead. they're not mine, but i'm sure the owner has no need for them...i was going to pay $200ish for them i think. i can get the number off them if u want to check if they will match your fronts etc, from memory they are 8611 or 8612
