SHADY280 Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 hey guys need some simple help. for whatever reason the pertronix i have just bought wont install correctly. im working on a 1.8L datsun, and the center ring wont go over the part where the rotor mounts. has this kit been hacked?? the part # that isnt working is 17413 (the magnetic part) the outer sensor fits perfect. anyone else had simmilar instances. thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SHADY280 Posted March 29, 2007 Author Share Posted March 29, 2007 for all those who read this, and didnt know, the answer as i have found out is to grind off the lip, the rotor only needs a small lip, and can be made smaller. then the center magnet part slips right over.
