Here comes trouble
I discovered a black 1978 Datsun in the junkyard I frequent that was brought in today and is fairly intact. Manfacture date is January 1978. The black paint is in the jambs, firewall, engine compartment. I neglected to look on the radiator support for a color code tag. The paint appears to be original in the jambs and engine compartment but the body has the appearance of a re-paint There is no Black Pearl pin stripe decals. All that is left of the dual mirrors are the mounting attachments which do not look like the standard door mirror. If anyone knows what other features to identify this car.....please respond

Administrators BRAAP Posted March 28, 2007 Administrators Share Posted March 28, 2007 Just curious as why so much interest in this car? If it is a true black pearl car, then what?
Here comes trouble
The junk yard Z is a Black Pearl but it is a rust bucket with one floor panel about gone. Only the rear attachments are left for the deck sun shade and only the mounts for the dual mirrors.'''Larry, Thanx for the info.
