Guest Anonymous
I know this gets asked/answered about a million times a month... so Im going to change the form of the question: Im interested in possibly doing the Toyota 4x4 caliper conversion. I have a 1979 280zx. Can you nice people (I hope you are nice like the people at zcar.com) point me in the direction of the "how to's"... then I'll come back with my questions. thanx -will 79 280zx
Guest Anonymous
OK, Im back... got some q's now: What brake lines do I need to get? Stock replacments? or what? The 1/2 spacer that is refered to : can I make this? what shape? common sense appling here? I noticed from reading the older messages that there are 2 calipers that people use. the 4-runner type, and the 1988 4x4 calipers... which is recommended for the ZX? Are the ZX stock calipers different from the early Z calipers? ok... enough of my muddy questions. -will 79 280zx
Nigel
I realize that it's been a few days since you posted your question, but seeing as no one else has replied yet, I'll respond. The simple answer to your questions is that the Toyota 4x4 conversion does not work with ZX's. Sorry! Nigel
