Quagmire
Hi all , I'm new to this forum so a big hello to you all. I'm changing my timing belt on my Turbo Z31 and does anyone know the corerect amount of slack / tension there should be when installed? I think you measure the slack between the two cam gears, is this correct also? Cheers Scott
1FASTKINGCAB
If you run a straight edge across the top of both gears you should have 1mm of "sag" -OR- about a half-inch deflection with 20 lbs. of force straight down in the center of the cam gears.
