It all started normal. I was on way into work at 430 am I went outside got in the little white Neon. I pushed the clutch to the floor and twisted the key. . .rrr. . . nothing. I stomped harder on the clutch and twisted the key again . . . nothing. Time now 432 am. I walk around hope in the trusty Commanche. I take it out of gear and twist the key . . . silence!! Two cars with dead batteries at once. Time now 440 am. If I don’t leave in ten minutes I’ll be late for work. I’ll call my Boss he should be heading by about now, no answer, must be his day off. I go inside wake my unhappy wife and inform her that if she wants a car today she has to get up, along with three small children all under 5, and drive me to work and pick me up again in 14 hours. Easy sell I off in the Relay, after five minutes of transferring work related stuff from the Neon into the Relay. Time now 500 am. Lets see what 225 hp mininvan can do. 25 miles, 30 minutes, Flyleaf cranked. I made it into the building at 529 am. Spent the day locating a battery charger to borrow. At 712 pm I hooked up the charger to the Neon. At 800pm , with the kids asleep, I went to check the progress. Neon charge complete. Now to charge the Commanche, I just put a new battery in this thing 8 months ago, must need to drive it more. Wait. . . I left it right here. No one stole it the battery was dead.
