Guest zfan
Hey Scottie, A while back I bought a used pair of rear springs from you. Do you now if those springs were lowering springs(lower than stock?) Reason Im asking is I just put new tokico struts all the way around on my 71 Z and I am now scraping my 235/60-15's in the back. I did not use your springs,I think the ones on the car are stock but wanted to get a feel for car with strut change only before swapping springs. Reason Im asking about spring heigth is if they are lower that what Iv'e got on there then Ill put on my smaller 225/50-15's with your old springs becouse I need to stiffen it up a bit. Anyway don't know if that made any sense,I guess it's still to early in the morning. Thanks, Mike
Scottie-GNZ
Mike, you are taxing my memory but if I recall we did not want the car lowered because we were going to be using 245/50-15 on 15x9s in NYC!!! 235/60s is a very tall tire!! 26.1" and so clearance will be tight especially if the wheels do not have the correct offset. You need to check that, regardless of which spring you plan on using.
