INFO needed :Arizona Z manifold using other than Holley carb

[Here comes trouble]

I finally got my grip on a Arizona Z four barrel manifold but the price tag on a Holley 390 CFM may burn my fingers to a crisp. I realize the Holley390 is the one to use,,but they are scarce used and in high demand..Yes, I read the Arizona Z sound advice.......................................But has anyone used a four barrel Edlebrock/Weber or a Carter/Weber four barrel and what did you do to get it to run right. I have a 600 CFM Edelbrock/Weber, a 600 CFM Holley and a 4 barrel Weber/Carter? I have a 280 Z candiate for the manifold and want to use one of the three above carbs until the correct 390 CFM Holley floats my way (real cheap)
