Guest Mr. Big Business
OK, So I have my brand new outlaw brakes, but I'm kind of stuck on what to do for brake hoses. How do I go from the stock hard line (metric fitting ?) to the new outlaw 2800 caliper? Obviously, I want stainless braided hoses, but can I get those with a metric fitting on one end, and an 1/8" NPT on the other end? If so, where? Also, do the Outlaw 2800 calipers have an up/down or left/right? The calipers appear to be identical, although there was a tag included in the box stating that I need to put the larger piston towards the exiting end of the rotor. The pistons look to be the same size to my naked eye - do I need to measure them witha my caliper to see which one is bigger? Thanks Henry
BLKMGK
Centreville VA?! Dude, you're right up the street from me! I've got Outlaw brakes on my car. I ordered custom braided lines from Mike along with my brakes. They weren't all that expensive and bolted right up. Gimme' a shout sometime and we can hook up! More than happy to show you anything I can on the car or try to help you out. Pics of my car on my WEB site. Welcome!
Guest scca
henry.. 2 choices. 1) use a 1/8" pipe to standard line fitting and reflare your steel metric line to one end metric 2) custom lines more than likely someone in shipping put a tag in your box that means nothing. the 2800 calipers "should" have been piston size 1.68/1,68 oh bleeder screws go up (of course!) but i have been asked this before not larger......and not different sizes
