Hey List,

I want to remove my stock springs on my 240 this weekend.

How can I do this without using a spring compressor ?

Thanks for any help !

Wow !!! $9.95 plus shipping and handling and its on its way.

Harbor Frieght sales the same one I used from Napa when

I changed some struts awhile back.

Seems king of wierd ordering from there. I use to live right

by there and I inspected the remodel they did on the building

years ago.

I agree, I'm still very much amazed at the 4" right hand grinder I bought when I did my swap a coupla years ago, I've ground with it, put on cut off wheels and cut out sections of channel etc and it continues to rock-on rockon.gif ! Pretty impressive for a measly 15.00 I think it was, its as good as some other brands I've used in shops that paid far more. You have to watch it though, if its everyday tools you work with, forget it, otherwise, HF rocks. (Ps: I did just see a sign on the window saying LIFETIME warrantee on hand tools though, so perhaps they'd be ok, just not what I'd want a customer to see me using smile.gif not like they'd know, hell thats why they come to mechanics).

Regards,

Lone
