close P&P has an L24, should I get the rods?

Well the local pull-a-part has a late 240Z which has the longer rods. I'm debating going down in the morning to pull the motor apart to get the rods.

Would it be worth it?

The intake and exhaust are already gone, the valve cover is gone so I can pull the head off in like 5 minutes. I'd have to get the motor out of the car and the pan off which would be the harder part.

Is it worth it? The car appears to have decently low miles.

 

There is also a L28 with the P79 head on it. Would that be worth the $39 to get the head/valve cover?
