Guest crzy88
Hi #1: When I got my 1976 280z I have no fusible links. The last owner just connected all 4 sets wires together. I started to unwrap the mess and was able to trace one White/Red (Thicker) wire to the Alternator. So I know that wire will be for the 80AMP Fuse. The problem now is to find the 40A wire and the other two 50A wires. There's 3 remaining White/Red Wires - 2 thinner ones and 1 thicker one, just like the one that goes to the Alternator. Any idea? #2 My Z car was running before. I was cleaning up the engine bay and had also removed the dash. I had put all the connections back and the now my car won't run. It cranks, but won't turn over. There's no spark! I've double checked all the connection but it still won't run. Someone suggested it could be the TRANSISTOR IGNITION UNIT. Do you think that could be it? Do you think that not having the FUSIBLE Link could have Fried the T.I.U.? Thanks!
