Guest Pegasus76
I just changed the passenger front Disc pads on my 1976 280Z...Now the Car pulls to the left not like dangerously or anything but you can feel it wanting to go there...Think the pads just need to get comfortable? Guest Anonymous
Car pulling when braking: This usually occurs when "pulling side" caliper is not releasing completely. Rust, dirt etc getting between the caliper rubber ring. This occured when you squeeze the piston back into the caliper bore to allow the thicker pads to be installed. Disassembly and cleaning can solved the problem. If doesnot solve the problem, the piston could be cocking thus binding. Then, you would probably have changed the calipers. Drax240z
Generally you want to put new pads in in pairs, as in if you do drivers front, you should do passanger front at the same time. Different pad compounds and wear will make them grip differently.
