scottyMIz
ok guys i was thinking the track here and i think along with all the race tracks require a roll cage after you get into the 11's.So i was wondering where i could et one for the first gen zs?I see alot of people with them and do they have to meet a certain standard?Like could you get your own pipe and weld it in your self? Guest Anonymous
Sure, if a guy wanted to, he could have some straight DOM pipe sent to you and bend it yourself. But its kinda re-inventing the wheel unless your just adding to a packaged one. People tend to think that a rollcage kit will come pre-notched and all ready to go. Usually not the case. Some joints are pre-notched, and nearly all will need to be cut to length as they leave it long on purpose to give you some creativity in how you want it in there. Personaly, I'd go with a kit, even with it, you'll get in plenty of fabricating and welding in trust me. (which is why mine is tacked in at the moment with just the main hoop and rear supports in place.) Damn lazy sod... Regards, Lone
