maxtor
I have Goodyear Eagle GT+4 P215-60ZR16 tires on my car now. Traction is a problem at the drags. I purchased two BF Goodrich Gforce t/a drag radials that are P215-60R14 and mounted them on some light mag wheels. My differential is a 3.54 open R200. I hope the shorter sticky tires will: 1. effectively lower my final drive ratio 2. Not loose traction. Anyone have experience with these short sticky tires? BlackBeaut
No experience, but just so you know they'll bive you the equivalent of a 3.833:1 diff ratio, unless my maths is wrong http://www.robshelley.btinternet.co.uk/240z/diff_calc/ Cheers, Rob

I came up with about a 3.90 which is about what you came up with. The taller the tire the larger the patch on the ground, so I hope the softer compound of the drag radials overcome the smaller patch of rubber on the ground.
