Guest Anonymous
I have a '79 280ZX and I am wondering if anybody makes a coil over kit for them. I see them for the earlier Z's but nothing for the ZX. Is it just not worth it on the ZX's? If you know of a place that sells the kits could you place a link and give a suggestion for which settings. Thanks, Matthew
Guest scca
z fronts are the same as ZX - all you need to do is make a spacer / washer combo to mount on your rear shock. same price $400 a set shipping included i have another customer who will ahve pics online soon of his zx conversion
Guest Aaron
Would some of the universal coil over shocks sold by Jegs/Summit/etc. work in the rear of a ZX? I believe the upper and lower strut mounts are similar to some of the coil over shocks they list. What would be the correct shock length? Other thoughts? Modern Motorsports Ltd
I'm sure some of the universals could be made to work. Whether the rates are appropriate at all for your uses though is another question. I can measure the fully extended length of existing Illumina's if you like (ask via direct mail, I'm not in here hourly) Matthew, I've got coilovers on my V8280ZX as well as customers cars. Any q's or needs feel free to ask me via direct email.
