tommyboy
I'm wanting to switch out my stock intake manifold with an N-42 manifold. Well, my question is, can I leave my F.I.C.D. off of the manifold, and only use my A/C while I'm driving and not while it's idle, or will it still cause it to stall? aarang
You can leave it off, but you may want to turn your idle up some. I left mine off and the A/C works OK, but it would pull the idle down to 600 rpm. You still need the main vacuum source for the A/C, but you probably knew that. tommyboy
Sweet. So did you leave that whole vacuum line off, or did you leave it connected to the manifold without the FICD? Cause I know there are 2 lines that go the A/C vacuum tank from the manifold. Thankx.
