datman
I was wondering if it is possible to calculate a rough idea of HP by the amount of fuel flowing. I have 650cc injectors and at WOT in 4th my max duty cycle is 52%...indicating around 325cc's of fuel is flowing right? Mixture is around 11.8:1 and bost @ 10 psi. randy 77zt
injector size x duty cycle /bsfc x # of injectors-got this off of http://www.rceng.com -this is a rough calculation of hp by the amount of fuel used.
datman
Ok thanks so 62lb/hr x (52% duty cycle) / 0.6 x 6 = 322bhp...it certainly seems if it would be kicking out his amount of power....If i'm not to careful with the throttle I can wheelspin in 3rd! I will be winding up the bost to 15 psi soon so maybe I will be nearer 400bhp then.
