how to find wheel bearings with x race inner diameter (parts

Say I want to use some wheel bearings in a non automotive application. I want to mount them on a piece of standard sized steel tubing. Any idea how I can easily find a bearing with a race that has a specific inner diameter? Is there some sort of xref somewhere that lists cars and the bearing size they use?

Dont go to the auto parts stores, instead go to your yellow pages & locate the nearest bearing mfg in your city-or nearby city.

 

Every major city has two or three bearing mfg's.

 

If a bearing mfg cant produce what you want then no one can.

You can try McMaster-Carr Supply Co. They are a big warehouse full of stuff.
