Tom280z
How do you mount up the front turn signals on the front air dam? Also What mounts did you use to mount the front air dam?I used some steel plate at a 90 degree bend and mounted them to the bumper shocks, but when i blended the body kit in,the body filler cracked. Are my mounts ineffective? Tom
Shift
do you have pics? So we can get a better understanding of how you mounted it?

Shift
My suggestion is (after viewing the photos), never use body filler as a bonding agent. Body panels flex thats part of the reason why they are in sections (panels). Unmount the panels and finish off the edges, then mount. Even though you may think its mounted perminately and won't move enough to break the filler, it will. reason is how differently heat effects metal and fiberglass. Tom280z
should I mold with fiberglass?
Shift
Yes, but..... You are going to run into the same problems with any impact to any of those panels. It will save you a lot of trouble later, to work the panel separately and not blend them together. Like when you want to replace a fender. I could tell you stories. Tom280z
i got you now.For the sake of panel replacement,no blending. Any thoughts on how to mount the front turn signal lights on the front air dam?
