Guest Anonymous
my buddy just gave me his twin turbo 300zx wheels with ok rubber, as usual, fronts are good and the rears are gone. i cant find anywhere the offset on these rims. i know a pretty good machinist who makes 4 to five lug adaptors, i just dont know what specs thickness wise i will need for these to clear, i know the rears will probably stick out a little, thats fine with me for now, a zg should cover with a low pro tire. this is a great site, this is my first post, its crazy, every other question ive had ive been able to find in the archives. any info you guys got would be great, also, if it matters, heres whats going on with my car suspension wise. its at stock rideheight with stock springs, pretty much bone stock everything. i really like these wheels! Guest Thurem
The offset might be stamped in the back off the wheels, in millimeters, it will prolly only be a number by itself. Ie. it's NOT gonna say :"The offset of this wheel is 25mm". It will be more like:"25". Or "ET 25" Otherwise you can measure it yourself. First measure the backspacing, by placing a straightedge across the backside of the wheel, then measure the distance from straightedge to mounting surface. If you need the Offset, simply subtract the backspacing from half the width of the wheel. Thure
Modern Motorsports Ltd
I'm pretty sure those wheels spec out at 45mm or thereabouts, it will be stamped on their as suggested. And unless you have the 8.5" turbo rear's, you should be able to fit them into your fenders nicely if you nail down the spacing correctly. 8's can be fitted on OEM Z's without coilovers. Coilovers let you get a little wilder:)
