Guest t0kp0w
Does anyone have a routing diagram for fuel lines and where they connect on flat top SU's? It would seem that the search terms i have been using are, well...doodoo.
Globerunner513
do you have a haynes or chilton's manual?? they usually provide excellent diagrams of these things. Can't say myself as i only look at the FI parts of the book...

Guest t0kp0w
that answers a few questions on vac hose routing thank you! so that would make these two guts the throttle opener control valve (left) and the throttle opener servo diaphram (right) It would appear as though i can remove these with no ill efects. The car should be pre smog junk as the vin number and manufacture date make the car a 72 ( im assuming these are carbs off of a 74 260(flat top su))
JSM
Is the balance tube from a 71-72 car? Are you keeping the flat top carbs? Where is the insulator between the carb and the intake?
Guest t0kp0w
this car is such a mess, the insulators are mia (got i like that but i think i have some lying around) I dont know about the ballance tube, but it seems as though its from a car with egr (74?) and I only plan on using the flat tops to get it running for now. any one know what the bare minimum as far as fuel lines and such that I can hook up just to get it to start???
