Guest Anonymous
Any one have some old Carerra shocks with a monoball and housing welded on one end?? I am working with John A.(CheeZer 240) on a camber plate for the Z 30 ( web page Yahoo Photos 3rd album and about last one of an intial camber plate CAD drawing by John. I have about everything figured out except a housing for the monoball/plain/spherical bearing ( Aurora Bearing Co. 5/8 inch hole #10 alignment plain bearing).Does anyone know of an off the shelf monoball bearing housing without going to a machinist that could be adapted to a camber plate with a little modification. The housing would be about 3/4 inch thick X 1 5/8 stepped down to a 1 1/2 outside diameter with and inside diameter of 1 3/16 with snap ring to accomadate the #10 Aurora bearing........ I suspect that some welded on ends to Carrera racing shocks may have the monoball with the snap ring housing in the size I am looking for. CruxGNZ
Larry, When I was thinking about making my own camber plates, Pegasus (right down the street from me) had the parts to make them. Give the catalog a look here . !M!
