Tokyo Auto Salon 2008 *56k Warning*

I had the opportunity to attend the Tokyo Auto Salon for the first time this year, and I was blown away by the sheer amount of stuff, people, and cars packed into the convention center they held it in. I am really glad I got to go, I was supposed to work all weekend but the boss changed his mind last minute. Probably had something to do with the fact that 75% of the squadron wanted to himself included. But anyway this show was amazing, I couldn't believe the sheer variety of the cars there. Granted most were Japanese but they had D1 cars, rally cars, JGTC cars, and even the odd Lamborghini and Camaro in the mix. If anyone ever has the chance to go to one of these shows don't pass it up you wont be disappointed. Here are some my personal favorites.

 

 

I was never a huge fan of the 2000GT but this one was really well done.

 

 

Just a Maziora painted Indy car, nothing too special I just really like the paint.

 

 

The Top Secrey GTR, I wasn't a huge fan of the GTR until I saw one in person now I actually really like the lines.

 

 

The Mine's GTR, I liked this GTR the best out all the ones I saw that day, I still can't put my finger on exactly why though.

 

 

Ok so the car may not be the focus of this one but come on it was an F-Body at the Tokyo Auto Salon and they wouldn't move out of the way.

 

I'm still sifting through the pictures I took, I've got quite a few of the two S30s that I saw but I can't find them right at the moment, I took almost 500 pictures. So when I find them I will put them up.
