letitsnow Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I've finally decided that I'm going to run EDIS on my turbo L28(now I just have to decide which MS to get). What do I do with the distributor? I'm not too familiar with the internals of the L28 as I haven't taken mine apart yet. Is the oil pump driven like an SBC, by the distributor, or can I just make a block off plate and chuck the damn thing? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dexter72 Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 You can make a block off plate to cover the hole. I have also seen a casting plug / freeze plug put in the hole. gearheadstik Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 No it's not like the SBC, there is a oil pump drive rod but is not driven by the distrib... I saw you recommended the chrysler coil packs to someone, just to clarify, that was because the plug wire connections were the same as a standard SBC type wire?
