Connecting wideband narrowband out to a greddy gauge.. any suggestions?

Recommended Posts

I have a zeitronix ZT2 wide band setup in my car. I also have a greddy narrowband air fuel gauge with a four wire sensor. I want to connect the narrowband output (the output that would normally run to the ECU) to the greddy gauge so I have some idea of whats going on A/F wise.

I have found which wires in the harness were for the power/ground of the 02 signal. I am not sure which is which... I attempted to connect it to my output of my ZT2 and was getting a reading of rich (where my laptop said it was fine).

Could this be because I was NOT using shielded wire to connect the zt2 to the gauge? When I hold the two O2 wires in my fingers, I can make the gauge bounce. That leads me to think I have selected the right wires for that.

I also know which wires I need to use to connect the zt2. Narrowband out. This leaves me with one wire left over from the ground for the O2 sensor. Should this be grounded with the wideband?

It really does not seem to be working, I was wondering if anyone else had attempted this.

Thanks - Evan
