Chaparral2f
The rear suspension is coming along. It is taking a long time because designing and fabricating are slow. Wepecially if you don't want to have to go back and do it twice. The front suspension(1) is finally up on the jig, and the rear suspension and spring mounts are tacked together.(2) Nothin' gets permenantly welded until everything fits. Here are my favorite toys in the garage: The Lincoln Precision Tig 185 and the Esab MigMatic (3) the Miller 35 wirefeed and the Esab plasma cutter (4) the fifth picture is of the homemade suspension link. Chaparral2f
Finally getting the engine in place. It looks like the firewall is only going to need to be set back a couple of inches. Woo Hoo!!!! :)
Chaparral2f
The chassis is tacked together and the rear engine mounts are fabricated and in place. Tomorrow the cross braces and gusseting for stiffness. I'll get better pics when it gets on its tires and can be pushed outside
