Guest mattrp
I just got through installing my new motor/trans/clutch/etc and have noticed that the throwout bearing makes a slight noise like it is just touching the fingers of the pressure plate when the clutch is fully engaged (pedal up). I simply tightened up the pedal stop a little and now it rides all the time on the fingers and doesnt make hte slight scraping noise. Did I go the right way? Should I have the bearing completely not touching hte fingers, or will it cause no damage to leave it in essence spinning at all times?
