Mauisnow13
I have a 240z with an L26 in it. I recently got some free parts, consisting of a turbo intake and exhaust manifold, and a turbocharger, among other things. I have searched for weeks, with little information found. I was wondering how a blow through setup is hooked up. I would like to use the intake and exhaust manifolds to hook it up to the L26, if I even need the turbo manifolds. If anyone has any kind of pictures of a setup similar to this, or any helpful links, or anything to help me on my way, I would HIGHLY appreciate it. If you have any questions or opinions, just let me know. Thanks everyone, Amren
OlderThanMe
Blow through sort of indicates that you want to use carbs...In which case you most likly won't use a turbo intake manifold. SU carbs are pretty much useless for a blow through. There is a thread about that. A pair of Downdraft webers would work and so would and triple sidedrafts since they can be setup for boost. Mauisnow13
Thanks for the info. I appreciate the help, I have NO experience in blow through (obviously). I'll search for that SU thread and read it through. Thanks.
Challenger
Go tak to kim at Idaho Z car. I dont remember If there were any blow thru setups there but Kim will have the carbs youd need, and possibly some information on how to go about doing it. OlderThanMe
I suggest getting the book Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. He talks about all kinds of turbo stuff including EFI, Blow through, and draw through setups. If you can, EFI is the best for tunability(laptop)
Mauisnow13
I talked to Kim, but everytime I see him, he says he's all but retired, and won't really help me all too much. I'll get a copy of Maximum Boost. I've meant to for a while now. Thanks for the tips guys.

Mauisnow13
Yup, still got it. I asked if he could do some stuff to my z. restoration wise, and he said he doesn't do that stuff much anymore.....Everytime I've come to him for parts he always says he doesn't have them too.
