Guest Anonymous
Hey, I was wondering. Did you get your transmission locally? If so, where did you get it? And if you don't mind, how much $$$? Thanks! Tim
Guest Anonymous
Yeah, I got it from Rancho Chevy Dismantling. It wasn't the cheapest of deals and many have done it cheaper, but the shipping can sometimes be pretty costly, but totally complete at $1750.00 including some stuff I didn't need like the Camaro pedals and stuff (they sell it as a automatic to stickshift changeover complete), but he did through in a driveshaft which I got lucky and scored an aluminum unit. If you go there ask for Roger, he's a good guy to work with. If you have any other questions just email me at lone@cwnet.com . Regards, Lone Ps: Keep in mind too that if your using a early chevy block with a two piece rear main seal you'll need a new flywheel from Centerforce to make it work, that runs about 265.00 Good luck with it. Guest Anonymous
Thanks Lone. I'll definately give Roger a call. As soon as I finish up this body work, it's small block time! Tim
