ShaggyZ Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 I think the term you two are looking for is "compliance." Low-profile tires have very little compliance with the road. Some guys think they'll make up for very stiff sidewalls with softer suspension, but you do lose a lot in general grip (sideways and rolling) the stiffer you go on sidewall.
