Dbar Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 ok so long story short what im trying to do is put an 81zx motor in my 78Z. I have in the z the 81 zx motor from valve cover to oilpan and all wiring for the 81. what im trying to do now to finish it is make the 81 harness and ecu talk to my 78Z dash and body wiring. the fsm i can find is too blurry when trying to read colours and details. what im wondering is has anyone here installed the 81zx drivetrain into the 78z and wired the 81 harness and ecu to talk to the 78z wiring. If some one has alreay done this any info would be very appreciated. Also if anyone has a fsm with a good wiring diagram for a 78Z from florida or knows where i can dowload one or even buy one that would also be very very appreciated. thanks in advance for any help or info.
